Jiffy Shoppes is a family-owned and operated pizza and sub shop that has been serving quality food since 1959. Thirty years ago, brothers Stamati and Pete Agouridis bought the first Jiffy Shoppes, in Morningside, Maryland. Today Jiffy Shoppes can be found in our new Bethesda location!
George Agouridis, owner of Jiffy Shoppes Bethesda, started working at Jiffy’s as a teenager helping his father, Stamati during school breaks. He continued to work part-time throughout high school and eventually worked his way up to becoming a Jiffy’s manager while attending college. In 2004, George graduated from American University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and went on to pursue a career in financial services. George always admired his father’s values and business ethics, which inspired him to be an entrepreneur. While George enjoyed his career his dream was to follow in his father’s footsteps and expand the family business.
Our goal at Jiffy Shoppes is to serve quality food with outstanding customer service, in a clean and inviting atmosphere and to do it at a fair price! Everything is made fresh daily. We are your neighborhood family pizzeria. Come visit us in downtown Bethesda.
